What makes a great host family?

At BFF, we pride ourselves on having quality host families ready to share their lives and culture with a child. Our families come in many different shapes and sizes, and there is no model family, but one thing they all have in common is the desire to open up their world, make an impact, and share their love with a child in need.

It’s not the big trips or always doing something to entertain that make the most significant difference. The conversations on the couch, discussing your day around the dinner table, or enjoying a movie together make the biggest impact on your student and yourself.
