Working for a nonprofit is filled with a mission to be of good service. Here at BFF I work with great people, that I feel connected to. Non-profits are incredibly motivating  when everyone is working toward the same goal for our students. Providing our Exchange Students and Host Families with support, spending time with them, learning about and embracing each others cultures and giving our students and Host Families a great experience while the students are under our supervision is the most important part of BFF’s mission to me.

Another benefit is that I get to work from home or remotely. Being a Community Advisor allows me to set my own hours and schedule. I get to  learn about each of my students cultures. I am able to be out in the community during events and  activities in the community. I am blessed to meet and get to know our amazing Host Families and students.
